Regulations on Employment of World Expo Emblem are announced put into formal effect today, as today is the World Intellectual Property Right Day. The regulations were accomplished by Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination in accordance with the Protection Law on World Expo Symbols adopted by the Sate Council of China.

The new regulations stipulate how the public should apply for and use the World Expo symbols. Anyone or any organization, which tends to use the expo symbols, has the right to apply in writing to the Symbol Management Office of World Expo 2010 Shanghai China, which will give an immediate reply according to the regulations. The application form is available at the official website of World Expo 2010 Shanghai China, www.expo2010china.com, and the documents of regulations and law free of charge at Shanghai local newspaper booths.
