China Eastern's Expo campaign takes off

  China Eastern Airlines, the first official partner of World Expo 2010 Shanghai, yesterday announced the launch of its Expo branded services and products.   

  The announcement was made during a TV show in a studio of the Shanghai Media Group. In the audience was Zhong Yanqun, the deputy director of World Expo 2010.   

  China Eastern, the third-largest airline on the China mainland, has appointed a“Special Expo Cabin Crew”to provide a top-level service to passengers in the lead-up to World Expo 2010 and is planning more services and products on the theme“Better Air Travel”. The slogan is derived from the theme of Expo 2010,“Better City, Better Life.”  

  Eastern Airlines will also conduct commercial campaigns to promote Expo 2010 and its theme.   

  Zhong received a model of "World Expo," an A340-600 airliner with a colour scheme specially designed to commemorate China Eastern’s support for the Expo.
