Lately, Shanghai World Expo Land Holding Co., Ltd. hosted the panel meeting for evaluating bids of World Expo Sample Grouping Design Proposals. After careful evaluation, Modern Design Group, Pudong Architecture Design Institute Company Limited, and a consortium of Tongji University Architecture Design Institute and Shanghai Municipal Project Design General Institute won the top 3 awards respectively. According to the bid evaluation results, Modern Design Group will act as the general contractor to take charge of design work in the latter stage. The World Expo Park sample grouping occupies an area of 21.2 hectares with 44,000m2 construction space and a total investment of about 300,000,000 Yuan.
