In order to get hold of information on awareness and participation intention on World Expo 2010 Shanghai China, understand the expectations and demand of different groups of people towards the Expo, and provide the decision making basis for hosting the Expo in a scientific way, Shanghai World Expo Operation and Management Co., Ltd. has entrusted the National Bureau of Statistics off China to carry out domestic visitor intention investigation. This survey will cover 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government, and 46 major cities across the nation, the largest of its kind since Shanghai had applied for hosting of World Expo 2010.
