The Chinese delegation to the 140th General Assembly of the Bureau of International Expositions (BIE) which was held in Paris on December 18 2006 addressed delegates and informed them of the latest progress in preparations for World Expo 2010 Shanghai, China.

Wang Jinzhen, the Chinese Representative to the BIE and Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Hua Junduo, Hua Junduo, Member of the Shanghai 2010 World Expo Organizing Committee, Commissioner General for Shanghai Expo, and Zhong Yanqun, Standing Deputy Director of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai Executive Committee all made speeches at the conference.
