The Shanghai 2010 World Expo National Organizing Committee recently held meetings in Shenyang, Sanya and Chengdu to prepare the participation of the provinces in the Expo. Representatives from 30 provinces, autonomous regions and cities, and directors of the Expo Organizing and Executive Committees attended the meetings.

In the meetings, Shanghai 2010 World Expo National Organizing Committee and Shanghai 2010 World Expo Executive Committee told the representatives about the progress being made in preparation of the Expo Shanghai, China’s experiences in participating in Expo in the past, and the systematic schemes of the Expo Shanghai that have been thought of. The representatives comprehensively discussed various topics with regard to the participation in the Expo Shanghai by the provinces, including the methods, contents and working relationship of the participants in the Expo. The relevant unit of the Organizing Committee will study the discussions of the meeting and set out the plan for the participation of the provinces in the Expo Shanghai, and the Organizing Committee will call for the provincial participation working meetings at appropriate time to arrange and strategize the participation work in its entirety.
