The 139th session of the BIE General Assembly was held in Paris, French on June 30. The Chinese delegation attended the conference, and presented the latest progress in the preparation for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. Yu Ping, China’s Chief Representative to BIE and Deputy Director of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, presided over the statement of the Chinese delegation. Hua Junduo, Member of the Organizing Committee of the Expo 2010 Shanghai China, Commissioner General for Shanghai Expo, and Zhong Yanqun, Standing Deputy Director of the Shanghai 2010 World Expo Executive Committee, stated respectively the latest development of preparations for Shanghai Expo.
