Expo 2010 Sino-French Roundtable Conference Held

Expo 2010 Sino-French Roundtable Conference, co-hosted by the Consulate General of France in Shanghai, UBIFRANCE and the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, was held on March 28.

Zhong Yanqun, Deputy Standing Director of Shanghai World Expo Executive Committee and Deputy Director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination delivered a keynote speech at the meeting. Zhou Hanmin and Huang Jianzhi, both Deputy Director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, introduced the latest progress in Expo preparations and planning as well at the conference.

Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination Launches Lectures Entitled“2010 Shanghai Expo Forum”

The Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination has started to hold a series of lectures entitled“2010 Shanghai World Expo Forum”in collaboration with the Shanghai Library. In 2006, the“World Expo Forum”program will hold a host of lectures concentrating on etiquette, snapshots of World Expo, and World Expo planning. A lecture on etiquette was first held on April 2.

Expo Human Resources Training Program for Large-scale Activities Kicked Off

The Shanghai Expo Human Resources Development Center started the 3-day lectures on the“Planning and Organizing of Large-scale Activities”on April 8-10. Talent training for activity planning and organizing is fundamental in the‘pyramid’talent development and training system. The event is the first Shanghai-oriented special training effort since the Shanghai Expo Human Resources Development Center launched the pyramid talent development and training system.
