In order to coordinate activity of the "Shanghai Week" activities held in the China Pavilion at the Aichi World Expo, the Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administrative Commission organized a performance in the China Pavilion at the Aichi Expo in Japan with a team of around one hundred performers, and held a promotion of the Shanghai Expo 2010 in Nagoya on Sept 24th in Japan. Zhou Yupeng, Standing Member of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Vice Mayor of Shanghai, Standing Vice-Chairperson of the Executive Committee for Shanghai 2010 World Expo, and Director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination attended and addressed the promotion.

At the promotion, Vice Mayor Zhou Yu-peng extended congratulations on the success of the Aichi World Expo. Zhou said that the people of Shanghai had the determination and the capability to make the 2010 Shanghai World Expo splendid, satisfactory and successful. He also briefed the guests with regard to the preparation status of the Shanghai World Expo. With a full integration of various kinds of resources, a fine environment and accommodation facilities, catering, shopping and entertainment in Shanghai will be guaranteed to the visitors.
