On March 29, the“Shanghai Logo Emblem Award Ceremony - Seminar on World Expo Merchandise Design Competition”was held in Shanghai. Mr. Wang Junyi, Huang Yaocheng and Dai Liu, deputy directors of Shanghai World Expo Bureau, attended the ceremony. Prize-winning designers of the 2010 Shanghai Expo Logo, representatives of the agencies concerned, and experts in such industries as design, arts and communications both in Shanghai and other cities also took part in the ceremony and seminar.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai China, Shanghai World Expo Bureau issued the winning certificate together with a bonus of 200,000 yuan to Mr. Shao Honggeng, designer of the logo, and a winning certificate and bonus to each of the 10 authors of outstanding works, and certificates for outstanding organization to 11 professional institutions, colleges and academies. In addition, in the name of the Organizing Committee and the World Expo 2010 Shanghai China Logo Collection Office, Shanghai World Expo Bureau also sent commemorative certificates and souvenirs of World Expo 2010 to the authors of the 100 chosen works as well as all authors having participated in the event of logo collection.

After the meeting, Mr. Zhou Yupeng, member of the standing committee of Shanghai Municipality, vice mayor, and director of the Shanghai World Expo Bureau, and Zhong Yanqun, secretary general and deputy director of the Shanghai World Expo Bureau, met the logo designer, winners of outstanding works and representatives of winners of excellent participating organizations.
