II. From of March 31, over 3,100 households within the Expo area in the Pudong District began to sign formal contracts in succession. They are among the first batch of households to be relocated.

By the end of 2005, Pudong will complete 80% of relocating work. The residents involved will start a new life in the Sanlin Shibo Park and Zhongfang Sanlin City----the Nanping Residential Zone and the Yongtai Park.

III. April 10 witnessed the relocation of households in Bailianjing in the Zhoujiadu Neighborhood, Nancun in the Shanggang New Village Neighborhood and the Nanmatou Neighborhood of the Pudong New District. They are among the first batch of households to be relocated for the sake of the World Expo.
