fitness campaign in preparation for the World Expo and to celebrate the 100th
anniversary of Fudan University. The climbing and long-distance running
activity, which has been held for 9 years successively, is endowed with special
significance this year, for it indicates Shanghai citizens' vigorous advancement
toward the EXPO 2010 Shanghai China, and toward the magnificent target of
building Shanghai into a center of international economy, finance, trade and
maritime transport.

theme of "World Expo and the Civilization Image of the City", was held in the
Shanghai International Convention Center as from January 15. It was the first

China, which involved image-building for international metropolises in the 21st
century. The forum explored how to build the new image of Shanghai and how to
promote and display the new image of Shanghai before and after Expo 2010
Shanghai, which was of great significance to the successful staging of Expo 2010
Shanghai and the future development of the cities within the Metropolis Circle

environmental protection, retail sales and legal services, and highly
acknowledged the effects of the master plan for Expo 2010 Shanghai.
