On April 10, World Expo 2010 Shanghai China Hebei Promotion Week and "the Path to World Exposition" opened at Shijiazhuang People's Hall.

It attracted large numbers of citizens. During the Promotion week, the large-sized statue of the Expo mascot was also lodged at the central area of Shijiazhuang City. This is the first time that "Haibao" has been out of Shanghai. Another highlight of the Promotion week is the full startup of "World Expo Campus Tour" activities in Hebei, which has elicited active participation of the university students. During the Promotion week, Hebei University, Hebei Normal University and Shijiazhuang Railway Institute have held a series of promotion activities like Expo Shanghai Picture Exhibition, "Sing Aloud for World Expo" – Expo Songs Vocal Concert, "I have a dream of Expo" – Final of World Expo Speech Contest, the brainstorming activity of "I offer a piece of advice for World Expo" and the creative design activity entitled "Expo Shanghai".
