The domestic participation work of Expo Shanghai is going smoothly and the preparation work in the whole country is in full swing. On March 28, the organizer of Expo Shanghai signed a national participation contract with Jiangsu Province in Nanjing. Jiangsu is the first province to have signed the national participation contract in China. And up to April 24, Zhejiang, Yunnan, Shandong, Guizhou, Qinghai and Anhui successively signed participation contracts with the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination. According to the agreement, local governments should submit Theme Statement to the organizers for appraisal and approval.
