More than 200 Russian guests on March 27 attended a meeting introducing Shanghai's economy, tourism as well as World Expo Shanghai 2010 in a Moscow expo center as a part of the series events of the "Year of China" in Russia.

Shanghai-Russian trade has grown 31.44%, reaching US$12.73 billion in 2006. Shanghai has six investment projects in Russia, involving US$2.267 million while Russia invested US$2.038, including 38 projects in Shanghai.
