The earth quake of Wenchuan, Sichuan Province touches the heart of every Expo Shanghai People.

Recently, under the leadership of Professor Wu Zhiqiang, the chief planner of Expo Shanghai Park and the director of the college of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University, 80 experts in architectural and urban planning fields headed for the quake-hit areas to perform the location selection of temporary resettlement sites for the people in more than 40 towns of Dujiangyan, Pengzhou, Chongzhou and Dayi counties.

It is reported that these experts, who participated in such planning of transitional resettlement organized by the Ministry of Construction, came from the 9 nationally leading planning and design institutes, including Tongji University, China Architecture Design and Research Institute.
