Love China: Hello!
Super Haibao: Hello!
Love China: You are an architect, aren’t you? That’s so great!!
Super Haibao: Yes, I participated in the design of the community behind us.
Not bad, eh?
Love China: It looks very nice. You did great. I came to have a look since I
am new here.. I’d like to find a job here shortly. Any suggestions for me?
Super Haibao: That depends on your interest.
Love China: I want to be an artist; that’s my major in my university.
Super Haibao: Cool!
Love China:It’s just so so.
Super Haibao: Click the "career" icon at the city entry, and you’ll find
detailed descriptions. You may also get some useful Expo medals for exchange of
items or acquire services by following specific instructions.
Love China: OK, Thanks!
Love China: I’d like to visit the Expo Site next week.
Super Haibao: I’ve been there once.
Love China: How was it?
Super Haibao: Fantastic! It’s really beyond expectation. I’m planning more
visits.
Love China: Are you in Shanghai?
Super Haibao: Yes.
Love China: You are lucky. I’m in Beijing.
Super Haibao: Where will you stay in Shanghai?
Love China: I have a schoolmate in Shanghai.
Super Haibao: Have you planned a specific trip?
Love China: Yes, on annual leave.
Love China: Do you have any tips for my trip?
Super Haibao: Search online for relevant information prior to your trip, or
you’ll be at a total loss, just like me last time.
Love China: Should I go to Expo Shanghai Online?
Super Haibao: Yes, click into the tour guide page, and design the travel
route as you like. There are too many attractions within the large Expo Site.
Love China: Do you have any recommendations?
Super Haibao: You cannot miss China National Pavilion, and the very striking
theme pavilions along the perimeter. Among the large amount of the foreign
national pavilions, international organization pavilions, and corporate
pavilions, you may also choose some others for visits depending on your
interest.
Love China: How can I do that?
Super Haibao: It’s simple, search online!
Love China: Good idea.
Love China: How long will it take for an overall site visit?
Super Haibao: Three or four days for a quick look around.
Love China: Ah, so long!
Super Haibao: If you’re pressed for time, you may just access your favorites
sites, and enjoy the others online, just for participation!
Love China: Oh!
Super Haibao: The three-dimensional online pavilions will offer you the same
experience as on-site visiting.
Love China: Is it Ok on a laptop?
Super Haibao: It should be Ok; just normal configuration is required for
online visiting.
Love China: That’s all right. I can browse through the others with my old
laptop.
Love China: By the way, I hear about that some pavilions are full of
visitors, and you may have to wait outside for a long time.
Super Haibao: That’s true.
Love China: If so, I may not complete my on-site travel as scheduled.
Super Haibao: Yes, just like me last time. Now, I know how to deal with it.
Do you have a 3G cell phone?
Love China: No.
Super Haibao: Oh, with a 3G cell phone, you may have access to the internet
for checking the visitor flow in different areas, and change your route if
needed; or you’ll have to take notice of on-site information broadcasts and
bulletin boards, or check at self-service terminals.
Love China: Another way is to take my laptop with me, hehe!
Super Haibao: Yes!
Super Haibao: Remember to be online next week; there will be something
special.
Love China: What?
Super Haibao: Yao Ming will come online for an event.
Love China: Really? He’s still in the play-offs, isn’t he?
Super Haibao: He’ll log onto the Expo Shanghai Online in U.S. and communicate
with us.
Love China: Great, what day of the week?
Super Haibao: Wednesday!
Love China: What time?
Super Haibao: Eight o’clock, Beijing time!
Love China: Ok, I got it.
Love China: I have a French friend, who will visit Shanghai next month, but
cannot speak Chinese. Will they have any trouble with visiting?
Super Haibao: No problems at all. Your friend can seek help from on-site
volunteers.
Love China: They’ll be too busy, won’t they?
Super Haibao: They should not be. To ensure a nice trip, your friend may log
onto Expo Shanghai Online, and click the "community" icon to look for a French
background volunteer and make an appointment for the Expo Site visiting.
Love China: That’s great.
Super Haibao: Or, your friend may use on-site computers to log onto Expo
Shanghai Online, and click the "language classification" icon, to find a
French-speaking tour guide, in a short time.
Love China: I feel much better now. If time permitted, I would accompany my
friend on the trip to Shanghai.
Super Haibao: Don’t worry. It should be Ok.
Love China: Thanks a lot.
Super Haibao: No problem.
Love China: My QQ is (……), add me. Maybe I’ll need your help in Shanghai.
Super Haibao: Ok, I’ll do it shortly.
Love China: Bye!
Super Haibao: Bye.
