A delegation of Shanghai World Expo officials yesterday visited Holland,
to talk about the Dutch Pavilion and the country's exhibition for the Urban Best
Practices Area.
In a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Holland, Zhang Jun, Zhou Hanmin,
the deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination,
said preparations are running smoothly and thanked the embassy for its support.
Zhang said the Expo will be another channel for the world to learn more about
China just like the Beijing Olympics and the hosting of the event will certainly
lift China's profile in the international arena.
Zhang also voiced support for the Shanghai Expo.
The theme of the Dutch Pavilion is "Happy Street" and Rotterdam will also
present a "Water City" project.
