1 Inviting Participation

The Organizer shall, through news release sessions, some international media and the Expo 2010 official website (www:expo2010china.com), release information on inviting participation by corporations, and shall also send invitation information directly to a targeted group of corporations.

The Organizer shall send to the Expo 2010 partners a request letter for participation intention.

2 Expressing Participation Intention
Upon receipt of the invitation information, the corporations that intend to participate in Expo 2010 may communicate with the Organizer, which shall provide the corporations with the layout plans of exhibition sections, locations and booths, as well as other relevant information, along with preliminary requirements for corporate participation.

The corporations that have decided to participate shall submit to the Organizer a "Participation Application," along with other required documents as specified in the corporate participation announcement.

3 Confirming Participation
Upon receipt of the intent documents submitted by the participating corporations, the Organizer shall evaluate the eligibility of the corporations for participation and send to the eligible corporations a "Participation Invitation Letter." The corporations shall, upon receipt of the invitation, submit to the Organizer a "Corporate Participation Confirmation Letter" and a "Theme Statement" before a specified deadline.

The Expo 2010 partners shall submit to the Organizer a "Corporate Participation Confirmation Letter" and a "Theme Statement" before the deadline indicated in the request letter. The corporation shall obtain consent from the Commissioner General of Section concerned prior to formally confirming its participation with the Organizer.

In accordance with provisions in the General Regulations and Special Regulations of Expo 2010, the confirmed corporations shall participate in exhibitions presented in the corporate pavilions as non-official participants of Expo 2010.

4 Technical Consultation
Upon confirmation of its participation, the corporation shall proceed to consultation with the Organizer on specific participation matters.

Following the confirmation by the Organizer of its submitted "Theme Statement," the participating corporation shall determine with the Organizer its exhibition site and provide its "Exhibition Proposal" with detailed descriptions. It shall also specify and make arrangements of the aspects of preparatory work to be completed for its pavilion set-up, including exhibits, transport, installation, and planning. The Organizer shall make sure that the contents of the "Exhibition Proposal" are consistent with the "Theme Statement" and fully demonstrate the Expo 2010 theme, "Better City, Better Life."

5 Concluding Contract
The Organizer shall conclude the Participation Contract with a participating corporation when agreement is reached through consultation.
