China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation has confirmed with organizers they will build a joint corporate pavilion with China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation and China Electronics Technology Group Corporation at World Expo 2010.

The three groups will build a China Aerospace Pavilion at the Expo site to showcase China's achievements in the aerospace industry.

Zhou Hanmin, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, met with He Dongfeng, the assistant general manager of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, to talk about the details of their participation.

It is the fifth corporate pavilion confirmed for Expo.

State Grid -- the world's biggest public utility company -- China Mobile, Vanke -- China's biggest listed real-estate developer -- and a joint venture of Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation Group and General Motors are the other four confirmed to build corporate pavilions.

Global partners have priority in the building of corporate pavilions, the organizers said.

The Expo will set up an area of 110,000 square meters to hold 16 corporate pavilions, including nine Chinese enterprises.

Among the 16 corporate pavilions, 14 will be newly built and two will be renovated from old factories.
