China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation has confirmed with
organizers they will build a joint corporate pavilion with China Aerospace
Science and Industry Corporation and China Electronics Technology Group
Corporation at World Expo 2010.
The three groups will build a China
Aerospace Pavilion at the Expo site to showcase China's achievements in the
aerospace industry.
Zhou Hanmin, deputy director general of the Bureau
of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, met with He Dongfeng, the assistant general
manager of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, to talk about the
details of their participation.
It is the fifth corporate pavilion
confirmed for Expo.
State Grid -- the world's biggest public utility
company -- China Mobile, Vanke -- China's biggest listed real-estate
developer -- and a joint venture of Shanghai Automotive Industry
Corporation Group and General Motors are the other four confirmed to build
corporate pavilions.
Global partners have priority in the building of
corporate pavilions, the organizers said.
The Expo will set up an area of
110,000 square meters to hold 16 corporate pavilions, including nine Chinese
enterprises.
Among the 16 corporate pavilions, 14 will be newly built
and two will be renovated from old factories. |
