Hua Junduo, China's commissioner general for World Expo 2010, today met a delegation led by Philippe Le Gall, ambassador of island nation of Seychelles to China and talked about the country's participation in the event.

Hua extended a warm welcome the delegation and thanked Seychelles for its early confirmation it would take part in the World Expo 2010.

Seychelles is an island country in the western Indian Ocean north of Madagascar, with a population of about 65,000.

Le Gall said he would pass on what he had seen here to his government and his country would decide the pavilion type, location as well as the theme and content over the next two months.

Hua invited the country to participate in the second participants meeting to be held on November 15 in Shanghai. The organisers could discuss the details of the participation with the Seychelles then.

The delegation also visited the master plan exhibition hall in the Expo Mansion.

Le Gall said seeing the plan himself gave him a magnificent impression. He said he is looking forward to the event.
