The Republic of Namibia's Expo exhibition will be themed "Experience
Living Diversity" during World Expo 2010, the country's officials said as it
signed a participation contract with organizers today.
The country will showcase the tourism, culture, trade and life styles of its
cities, including the capital city Windhoek, during the Expo.
The country also planned to exhibit its achievements on scientific innovation
and neighborhood renovations to echo the "Better City, Better Life" Shanghai
Expo theme.
Namibia confirmed its participation of the Expo in September, 2006. It is the
53th participants to sign a participation contract and is the first African
country that signed the contract by mail.
Namibia is at Southwest Africa. The 824,200 square kilometer country has a
population of about 2 million.
