Zhou Hanmin, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, visited South Korea Envoy Lee Kyun Dong in Beijing yesterday.

Zhou gave a progress report on World Expo 2010 including details on the constructions of pavilions.

Zhou hoped the South Korea government could sign a participation contract with Expo organizers soon.

Lee Kyun Dong thanked Zhou and said he will pass on Zhou’s comments to the government.

South Korea confirmed its participation of the Expo in December, 2006.
