Norway will showcase the significance of sustainable development at World
Expo 2010.
The Norway Pavilion will stick to the concept of sustainable development
involving construction materials and efficient use of resources and energy,
according to Sylvia Brustad, the country's minister of trade and industry.
"Being involved in Expo 2010 gives us a unique opportunity to show off to
China and the rest of the world. It is also essential to our long-term
aspirations in China," said Brustad.
The winning design for its pavilion is on exhibit in Norway through August 24
together with those of the four other finalists. The exhibit is at Norway's
National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design.
