A Nanjing delegation led by the Nanjing deputy mayor Zhao Xiaojiang visited the Expo Exhibition Center yesterday.

Zhu Yonglei, deputy director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, welcomed the delegation and gave a progress report on the Shanghai World Expo.

After the meeting, the delegation had a discussion with the organizers on preparations for the Expo forum.

Zhu said the Expo forum would be an opportunity for global cooperation as well as an effective way to pass on the spirit of the World Expo.

Zhao said Nanjing would spare no efforts it its preparations for the Expo.
