Shanghai's Vice Mayor Yang Xiong, who is also the executive deputy director of the Executive Committee of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai and Hong Hao, the director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination meet Luo Linquan, China's ambassador to Greece.

Both sides exchange presents.

Greece will speed up work for its pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo and will sign a participation contract soon, a senior official of the country said yesterday.

The Greek government has always attached great importance to the Expo, Aris Spiliotopoulos, the commissioner general of the country told Shanghai's Vice Mayor Yang Xiong, who is also the executive deputy director of the Executive Committee of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai, during Yang’s visit to his country.

Yang gave a progress report on Expo and said he hoped Greece would showcase its vast and rich history.

Hong Hao, the director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, was also in the official group.

Yang and Hong visited Luo Linquan, China's ambassador to Greece. Luo said he will spare no efforts in helping Greece's Expo preparations.
