Shanghai presented performances featuring traditional Chinese folk songs and
dances to thunderous applause during a special event at the Zaragoza Expo in
Spain on Saturday.
Shanghai, the Republic of Korea's Yeosu and Italy's Milan -- host cities of
the 2010, 2010 and 2015 Expos respectively -- were the stars of a day held for
the International Expositions Bureau.
The 2010 Expo mascot Haibao was presented to guests.

Jean-Pierre Lafon, president of the International Expositions Bureau, hailed
the success of the Zaragoza Expo, themed“Water and Sustainable Development," as
it reflected the concept of sustainability via water.
Shanghai Executive Vice Mayor Yang Xiong said seeing Zaragoza in operation
was highly beneficial and he praised the fabulous exhibitions displayed by
participants.
Officials from the International Expositions Bureau, as well as
representatives from participating organizations, toured the China Pavilion on
the day.
