Construction begins on pavilions for Asian countries and
international organizations at Shanghai World Expo 2010
Construction began this morning on pavilions for Asian countries and
international organizations at Shanghai World Expo 2010.
The main steel structures of the pavilions in Zone A and B at the Expo site
have been erected.
Expo organizers held a ceremony to celebrate the beginning of construction of
these pavilions.
Ding Hao, deputy director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination
who is in charge of construction work at the Expo site, attended the ceremony.
