Huang Xingguo, mayor of Tianjin Municipality, yesterday visited the World Expo national tour exhibition at Tianjin Museum, promising to make an all-out effort in preparing the municipality's exhibition for the event.

Huang listened to reports on preparations for Expo 2010 and learned of the awards that Tianjin's products won at past Expos.

Huang said Tianjin attached great importance to its participation at Shanghai Expo and would showcase the municipality's achievements during its development.

"Tianjin's Huaming town program, which has been listed in the Expo 2010's Urban Best Practices Area, is a practice showing the country's efforts in lifting the living standards of farmers,”Huang said. "It also fits in with the Expo theme of 'Better City, Better Life.'"
