Announcement on Music Works Solicitation for Expo 2010 Shanghai China

This is to announce that the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination (here in after referred to as BSWEC or Organizer) is authorized by the Shanghai World Expo Organizing Committee to solicit the music works around the world, including Anthem of the Expo 2010 Shanghai China, Volunteers' Song of the Expo 2010 Shanghai China, and the audio logo of the Expo 2010 Shanghai China, for promoting the Expo 2010 Shanghai China (hereinafter referred to as Shanghai Expo in short) so as to make it a "successful, splendid and memorable" grand event.

The solicitation starts from April 30 2007 and ends at different deadlines as per music type. For detailed regulations, see Music Works Solicitation Rules for the Expo 2010 Shanghai China (here in after referred to as Solicitation Rules in short).

The Anthem Solicitation Office set up by the BSWEC is in charge of the solicitation related activities. All individuals and institutions concerned about Shanghai Expo can log on the official website of Shanghai Expo (www.expo2010china.com) to read or download the Solicitation Rules and other documents and information.
