1. Positioning

The emblem and slogan collection activity is an important part of Expo 2010 Shanghai's image and is also a constituent part of all of Shanghai World Expo's cultural activities. The Collection Activity is international, authoritative and serious and with professional but non-commercial operational methods, it invites Chinese and overseas specialized personnel and the general public to jointly take part in order to better promote Expo 2010 Shanghai at home and abroad, fulfilling the commitment of "holding a successful, splendid and memorable World Expo".

3. Judging

The Judging Committee is made up of eminent scholars, artists, designers, World Expo experts and linguists. To reflect fair, open and unbiased principles, the judging committee will submit letters of commitment to the sponsor. The judging will appoint a notarization institution. During the judging, sponsors will invite a public notary office to supervise and notarize the entire judging process.

After the submitted works are short listed, candidates will sign a copyright agreement of transfer.
