More than 600 officials from the top advisory body of Guizhou Province yesterday visited the World Expo tour exhibition in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou.

Guizhou should take full advantage of Shanghai Expo and promote rich resources and achievements of recent developments, said Shi Zongyuan, Party chief of Guizhou Province, yesterday when visiting the exhibition.

Shanghai Vice Mayor Yang Xiong thanked Guizhou's support to the promotion of Shanghai Expo. Yang said Shanghai hoped two parts could have more cooperation and share the Expo opportunity.

Guizhou is the second stop in 2008 of the tour exhibition. Guizhou is one of the provinces that contain the most ethnic minorities, which account for more than 37 percent of the total population.

The Expo touring exhibition has also stopped in seven national major cities -- Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing, Hangzhou and Chongqing, Guangzhou, and Kunming.
